phpMyAdmin
What is phpMyAdmin? What is its role? Why will your Internet sites need it?
phpMyAdmin is a highly efficient PHP-based tool used to handle MySQL databases using a web interface. You can employ it to run MySQL commands, create, edit and delete cells, rows and tables or handle users with various levels of access to the database in question. Each one of these tasks can easily be done from any device as long as you have a web browser and access to the website hosting account in which the database is. With phpMyAdmin, you can also export or import a whole database, which is a very useful function if you would like to migrate a website from one web hosting company to another. A variety of file formats are supported for the so-called dump file - CSV, SQL, XML and PDF, based on what you'd like to do - move the data from one web hosting account to another, preview an entire database in a spreadsheet app like Microsoft Excel, and so forth.

phpMyAdmin in Website Hosting
phpMyAdmin is a part of each and every
website hosting that we provide and it is accessible from our custom Hepsia CP. A small phpMyAdmin icon will be shown on the right side of every database which you create in the MySQL Databases section of the Control Panel and by clicking on the icon for the database which you want to access, you will be logged into the app immediately in a new tab of your Internet browser. Then you can do anything you'd like - export the whole or part of the data, import a database, run SQL queries, search and replace terms. If you do not want to go through the CP, you'll also be able to sign in through a direct phpMyAdmin login page, but you must know the database account information. The last feature is helpful if you have to grant access to a database to a third-party.

phpMyAdmin in Semi-dedicated Servers
We offer phpMyAdmin with every
semi-dedicated server account as all our packages support MySQL-driven websites. The tool is integrated in our in-house built Hepsia hosting CP and if you would like to modify any database, you just have to go to the MySQL section and click on the phpMyAdmin icon for a specific database. You'll not need any login credentials because you will be logged in automatically. If you don't want to go through your Control Panel or you need to provide access to any database to another individual for whatever reason, you will also have an alternative option - to go to our phpMyAdmin direct login webpage in which our system will require the database account information. If you hire a web development company, for instance, you can take advantage of this particular option to enable them to work on your Internet site without giving them access to any files, email messages or some other databases in the account.
